SRINAGAR: A 20-year-old youth dressed as Goddess Parvati died on stage while performing during Ganesh Utsav at Bishnah in Jammu.
In a video, Yogesh Gupta, an artist from Jammu, could be seen enthusiastically dancing and even dropping to the floor as part of the performance.
However, he collapsed on the stage. People thought it was part of the dance sequences given his hand and leg movement.
When he did not get up for a long time, a fellow artist rushed to check on him. He was shocked to find a lifeless body. He called for help but by then it was too late. Gupta had breathed his last on the stage.
