WhatsApp new Feature, Users will soon be able to search for messages by the date they were sent. With this feature, users can quickly go to a certain date to read messages from that time. Users will find this feature useful when they want to find out which messages were sent on a certain date.
The “search message by date” feature is still being worked on. The instant messaging app WhatsApp, which is owned by meta, is always working to improve the user experience by adding new features. The messaging app has added a lot of new features, like the ability to respond to messages with emojis, and surveys, the ability to move chats between iOS and Android, the ability to mute certain people on voice calls, and a lot more.
WaBetaInfo says that the instant messaging app is working on making it possible to search for messages by date. The feature was first found by WaBetaInfo in 2020, but there were no plans to make it available to the public after a while. After the TestFlight update for WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.0.19.73 comes out, WhatsApp plans to put this feature out again.
This feature is still being worked on, but when it’s done, users will see a new calendar icon when they search for a message in a conversation. With the help of a calendar icon, users can quickly jump to a certain date and start reading all messages from that date.
A user just has to scroll through the conversation to get rid of the date view.
This feature will be helpful, especially for people who want to find out which messages were sent on a certain date.
Aside from this, WhatsApp is also working on a new feature that will let you send a message to yourself while using the desktop version and the WhatsApp survey feature. After getting an invitation, users can fill out surveys about new products, services, and other things.
It’s not clear when these features will be available, but soon we’ll be able to test them out in WhatsApp’s beta version.
