A video featuring Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy criticizing Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan for neglecting her fans during a flight is gaining traction on the internet. The video, recorded during a conversation at IIT Kanpur, shows Narayana Murthy expressing his surprise at Kareena Kapoor Khan’s apparent lack of acknowledgment towards her fans.

While the video is not recent, it has resurfaced and is now going viral on social media platforms.

In the video, Narayana Murthy voices his disappointment with the actor’s behavior, recounting an incident involving Kareena Kapoor Khan on a flight from London.

He shares, “The other day, I was coming from London, and sitting next to me was Kareena Kapoor. Many people came up to her and greeted her, but she didn’t even bother to react.” Narayana Murthy further elaborates, “I was a bit surprised. Whenever someone approaches me, I stand up, and we talk for a minute or half a minute. That’s all they were expecting.”

During his narrative, Sudha Murty, Narayana Murthy’s wife, intervenes and tries to defend Kareena Kapoor Khan’s actions, citing her immense popularity and millions of admirers. She suggests that Kareena may have been tired due to her hectic schedule. However, Narayana Murthy counters his wife’s point, emphasizing that the issue is not about the number of fans but rather about acknowledging affection from admirers, even in a subtle manner.

According to Narayana Murthy, displaying such reciprocity is essential to reduce one’s ego. Despite his wife’s defense, Narayana Murthy maintains his stance on the significance of acknowledging and appreciating the affection shown by fans, regardless of the magnitude of their fame.
