Vivek Bali visits Kulgam, interacts with locals

KULGAM, AUGUST 19: Janata Dal (United) State General Secretary Vivek Bali on Monday visited various areas of Gundipora, Devsar constituency in Kulgam to interact with the locals and address their issues. Vivek Bali met with locals and delegations from the village, listened to their grievances, and assured action for the early resolution of their issues, particularly concerning road connectivity, electricity, and drinking water, which have long been pending demands in the area.

Bali assured them that he would take up the matter with the administration on a priority basis. Vivek Bali said, “We are here to listen to the people and understand their issues. The JD(U) is committed to ensuring that the voice of the people is heard and their grievances are addressed.”

Bali also urged the locals to work together towards the betterment of the area and to maintain peace and harmony in the region. Interacting with the people, Bali assured them that JD(U) leadership is concerned about their grievances and will take all necessary measures for the welfare of the general public.

While speaking to the media, he said, “JD(U) is ready to fight assembly elections in J&K, and in the upcoming days, the party will announce the candidates.” He further stated, “The government should give another chance to stone pelters so that they can start their new life and live with peace and prosperity. It’s in our manifesto to revoke the cases of stone pelters.”

“People have now reposed their faith in JD(U), and with every passing day, scores of people are joining the party fold, which is ample proof that our party is here to stay and serve the people,” Bali said.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Sikh community Dilawar Singh, Bashir Ahmed Shah, senior leader of JD(U), and other party workers and leaders were present.
