India’s UPI (Unified Payments Interface) services faced another major disruption on Saturday morning — the third outage in just a month — leaving users and businesses unable to complete digital transactions.
According to DownDetector, over 1,100 complaints were recorded by afternoon, with Google Pay reporting 96 issues and Paytm 23. The exact cause of the outage remains unclear.
NPCI acknowledged the glitch, stating: “We are currently experiencing intermittent technical issues, causing partial UPI transaction declines. Our team is actively working on a resolution. We regret the inconvenience.”
