HYDERABAD: An influential local Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader Narayana Reddy was allegedly stoned to death in Telangana’s Vikarabad, said reports.
The body of Reddy, who is believed to be involved in a running feud with a rival gang in the village, was found this morning in the Sultanpur village in Vikarabad.
Soon after the news spread, the supporters of the deceased TRS leader attacked a few Congress workers alleging their involvement in his murder.
They have been rushed to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, the police have ruled out any political angle in Reddy’s killing.
A case in this regard is yet to be registered. No arrest has been made in this regard so far.
