Doda, Oct 27: In view of the upcoming Panchayat Elections for the 3rd and 4th phase in the district, the training session for Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers was held Saturday here at Conference hall, DC office complex, Doda.
During the training session, Master Trainer, SDM Gandoh, Dilmir and SDM, Assar Varunjeet Charak gave a power point presentation regarding handling of election related materials.
A total of 150 ROs and AROs were acquainted with the operation of ballot boxes and other allied election materials for carrying out the smooth conduct of ensuing panchayat elections in the district.
Moreover, stressed was given to strictly adhere to the guide lines set by Election Commission of India and ensuring the maximum electoral participation for strengthening the Democracy.
The participants were provided with the hand book for ready reference and were further advised to coordinate with the election cell Doda for the hassle free conduct of election process.
