One teenager from Hyderabad lost his life while shooting a video for an Instagram reel beside a moving train.
Mohammad Sarfraz (16) was hit by the train and died on the spot while his two friends, who were also part of the video, managed to move away to safety.
The incident took place when the trio decided to shoot a video for the popular social media platform alongside the railway track.
According to the Government Railway Police, the deceased boy failed to accurately gauge the distance between himself and the track as he attempted to shoot a video of himself walking past a speeding train.
“MMTS trains are wider than other trains and it is possible that he failed to gauge the distance required between himself and the approaching train,” said an official.
