Srinagar, Jan 08 : Suhail Bukhari, a journalist by profession and a former media consultant of the Jammu and Kashmir Government, on Tuesday formally joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Youngsters like him will strengthen the mission of peace, prosperity and change pioneered by People’s Democratic Party.”

Meanwhile, Suhail Bukhari while talking to reporters termed his decision of joining PDP as against the tide and trend, saying that he is not power hungry and felt that his need is the party, therefore took this decision.
He added that he resigned from the post earlier on personal reasons but now, he has joined the party formally on the call of Mehbooba Mufti which she made on yesterday at Bijbehara, asking youth to join the party.
“PDP is not a party it is a Caravan established by Late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed,” he said, adding that he believe PDP and the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti is the only thing that will fill the need of leadership, which Kashmir needs at present.
