Srinagar:In the ongoing Grand Kashmir Cricket Premier League, Srinagar City Club defeated Eleven Stars PadshahiBagh by 4 wickets in a close match played here at Anjum Ground Qamawari.
Earlier Eleven Stars PadshahBagh won the toss on the favourable batting wicket and decided to bat first.
While batting, first Eleven Stars PadshahBagh scored 151 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
For ESPB Raja and Imtiyaz scored 31 and 22 runs respectively. For Srinagar City Club Sahil and Muzamil took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Srinagar City Club chased the target of 152 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 19.2 overs.
For Srinagar City Club,Sahil scored 59 runs match winning knock and Umer Nisar on other side made 42 runs.
From Eleven Stars PadshahBagh Raja took 3 andRouf took 2 wickets.
Sahil who scored 59 runs and took 1 wicket was declared man of the match and most sixes award was also given to Sahil.
In second match of the day Urbanac Stars defeated AMB Stars by 9 wickets.
After winning the toss, AMB Stars decided to bat first, while batting first AMB Stars scored 118 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
For them Aijaz scored 40 runs and Unaib added 24. For Urbanac Stars Muneer took 5 wicket haul while as Mehjoor took 2 wickets.
In reply, Urbanac Stars chased the said target of 119 runs for the loss of only 1 wicket in 16.5 overs, in which Feroz scored 52 runs and Sameer contributed 41. The lone wicket was taken by Suhail for AMB Stars.
Muneer who took 5-fer was declared man of the match and most sixes award was given to Aijaz from AMB Stars.
