Situation not conducive for dialogue process: Bilal Lone

Srinagar, May 14: Senior Hurriyat (M) executive member and Peoples Conference (B) chairman, Bilal Gani Lone has said that the situation is the Valley is not conducive for dialogue process.
“We are not against the dialogue as it is the only way to resolve the issues but the current situation is not conducive for the dialogue process,” Lone said, adding that they have also participated in the talks held earlier.
He said that there is need to see the better and conducive time for the talks between all the stakeholders to resolve the issue.
Replying to query, Lone said that he don’t see any Track II diplomacy on the ground. “Though I don’t see any such thing happening at present but the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) a united forum if found anything on the ground then they can take a call on it,” he said.
About civilian killings in Kashmir, Lone said that “we feel pain whenever any civilian got killed or maimed with bullets and pellets. There is nothing in our hand to stop such killings but with such killings our new generation has got affected badly. We pray to Allah for the improvement in the situation here.”
