Srinagar, Nov 9:  Come autumn, social media platforms are witnessing a burst of mesmerizing fall photographs.

Thanks to a new campaign `Show Your Autumn Hues’ users are trying to recreate Amitabh Bachchan-Shah Rukh Khan starrer Mohabbatein charm in Kashmir.

From the golden canopies of Chinar trees to the tranquil lakes reflecting hues of amber and crimson, users are sharing scenic landscapes widely online.

The show Your Autumn Hues campaign, initiated by local social media users, is rapidly gaining traction.

The movement encourages residents and visitors to share photos of Kashmir’s autumn beauty, particularly in areas like Srinagar’s Nishat Garden, Pahalgam, Gulmarg, and the Mughal Gardens.

Under the hashtag #ShowYourAutumnHues, hundreds of posts have filled platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

Local content creators, photographers, and influencers have joined the campaign enthusiastically, spotlighting lesser-known destinations alongside popular spots.

Many are using this initiative to promote tourism in the region, showcasing different colors of Kashmir’s autumn season.

Dawood Ahmad Bhat, a local influencer and photographer said they often initiate such photo contests and campaigns in different seasons to highlight the beauty of Kashmir.  “Kashmir in autumn is magical, and this campaign is our way of sharing that magic with the world. We want people to know there’s more to Kashmir than just snow-capped mountains; autumn here has its beauty.”

Non- locals too have joined the movement by sharing their pictures and experiences in Kashmir. “This is the picture I clicked two years back during the Autumn season in Kashmir. It shows crimson red chinars of Nishat garden. Such a beautiful experience of my life,” posted Nawaz Sheikh,  a backpacker from Goa on Instagram.

The campaign is sparking nostalgic conversations among Kashmiris living abroad, who are sharing their memories of Kashmir’s famous “harud” (autumn) season.

“I have been in Dubai for the last six years and believe me there is no other place like Kashmir. I miss autumn and snow. I am coming to Kashmir next week and will exclusively capture some finest pictures of autumn in Kashmir,” commented Azhar Hamid on the picture of crimson red chinar shared by a user.
