SRINAGAR, JUNE 26: As the annual holy pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) shall be commencing within a few days, a training cum sensitization program was today held at Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC), HMT Srinagar for the staff of various departments deployed for smooth conduct of Yatra.
The resource person at the Training program was Nodal Officer Yatra and Revenue Attorney of Divisional Administration Kashmir, Tahir Ahmad Magray. He educated and sensitized officers and officials regarding the execution of their responsibilities in a professional and sophisticated manner for the successful conduct of SANJY, 2024.
Besides the head of ICCC, Zahoor Ahmad Magray, the senior officers of civil departments and police were present on the occasion.
The Nodal Officer Yatra emphasized real-time dissemination of information and effective communication for close coordination among departments to facilitate pilgrims coming from all corners of the country for holy darshan.
On the occasion, Magray gave a detailed presentation wherein he shared the extensive details of arrangements meticulously executed by the Administration at all the critical locations.
Meanwhile, he underlined the need for a round-the-clock vigil on both axes and the camp’s established en route for a temporary stay of yatris.
Moreover, Nodal Officer Yatra directed officers and officials to remain updated with data from their departments on the ground for timely reinforcement of essentials and services to facilitate yatris.
