SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 26: Advisor to Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, today inaugurated today exhibition titled ‘Revelations” – Artful insights’ at City Mall, Lal Chowk here.
Speaking on the occasion, the Advisor appreciated the noble mission and motive of the organizer of the event. “Such initiatives greatly help the society towards protection, promotion, and preservation of our age-old cultural legacy and identity”, he maintained.
The organizers, Second Lives Art Guild, is an art group that comprises self-taught artists. The event has been organised to showcase their talent and inspire people especially the young generation to evolve and polish their talent and hobbies by keeping their passion alive for inherent talent and skills for which Kashmir is famous globally.
The group’s motto is to inspire the masses to explore nature, art, culture, and heritage and to scale off screen time and gadgets.
The exhibition will culminate on the 27th of October, 2024.
Director, Handicrafts & Handlooms Kashmir, Mehmood Shah, Former Dean Faculty of Fine Arts, Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi, Professor Zargar Zahoor was also present on the occasion.
The participant artists included Dr.Jehangir Aslam, Er. Shazia Basharat, Er. Nabi, Saqib Kachroo, and other young guest artists like Falak Iqbal, Iqra Shabaan, Sameer Shafi, and Umar Hassan.
