Srinagar, October 22: Police on Tuesday dispelled social media reports claiming the local administration has asked non-local workers to leave the Valley.
Taking to X, the Police wrote in a post “Social media reports claiming the local administration has asked non-local workers to leave the valley are false. The Jammu and Kashmir Police is committed to ensuring security and fostering a safe environment for all individuals.”
Police appealed to the people of the state to pursue their livelihood without fear or intimidation and advised the people not to pay heed to any false information on social media platforms.
“To pursue their livelihoods without fear or intimidation. The general public is advised not to pay heed to such false information on social media platforms,” the post read.
