No major weather change in J&K from Aug 23: MeT

Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast no significant weather activity in the Kashmir division from August 23 onwards. Today, the region is expected to see generally cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thunder at many places.

For August 20, the Centre warns of intense, brief showers and heavy rainfall in the Jammu division, which could trigger flash floods, landslides, mudslides, and falling stones in vulnerable areas. Early morning showers in Jammu are also expected to continue.

Starting August 23, the Kashmir division will experience no significant weather changes, with a potential rise in daytime temperatures.
