Srinagar: One youth and a cop were felicitated after the duo saved the life of a woman at the Nawakadal Bridge in the old city.
The woman had reportedly attempted suicide by jumping into the Jhelum river.”SSP Srinagar felicitated one youth namely Khabeeb Muneer Dar S/o Muneer Dar of Palpora and one cop Niyaz Ahmed of safakadal PS for saving life of a woman who jumped into Jhelum from nawakadal bridge on 2nd February 2023. They were given commendation certificates and cash reward,” Srinagar Police said in a tweet.
