SRINAGAR, JULY 23: A meeting of District Level Implementation Committee was Tuesday convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi Ud Din Bhat to review the implementation of Mission Youth schemes including Mumkin, Tejaswini and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative (SEI) in the district.
The meeting was attended by the Committee members of the District Level Implementation Committee of the District.
During the meeting, a total of 144 cases were approved under various Mission Youth schemes including 54 applications under SEI scheme, 61 cases under Mumkin scheme and 29 cases under Tejaswani scheme.
The meeting highlighted the importance of these self-employment initiatives in fostering youth empowerment within the district. The DC also instructed the committee to give wide publicity to these schemes so that maximum unemployed youth can avail benefits.
The meeting was also attended by General Manager DIC Srinagar, Hamida Akhter; Chief Planning Officer Srinagar, Fayaz Ahmad; Syed Farhana Asgar, ARTO Srinagar; Dy. Director Employment Srinagar, Dr. Sheeba Inayat; District Social Welfare Officer Srinagar, Lead District Manager Srinagar and representatives from JKEDI Srinagar and KVIB Srinagar.
