Meet conman who posed as a cop for 15 years to hoodwink people

It took 15 years for police to blow off the cover of a conman who posed as a cop to hoodwink people.

The conman was caught out by mistake at a restaurant in Maryland, US where he worked as a security official, according to reports.

Antione Tuckson’s cover was blown off when he reportedly tried to apprehend two women who disputed their bill at a Prince George’s County eatery.

Tuckson was armed with a biting dog, police vest, Glock handgun, and taser at the time, according to federal prosecutors.

Media reports said he called the Prince George’s County Police Department after intervening in the dispute between the two women in the restaurant.

He was caught out when he flashed his fake badge to the responding officers who arrived at the eatery. The officers immediately grew suspicious of Tuckson when they noticed he had left his dog at the venue.

Tuckson also tried to have his friend impersonate his supervisor when the officers demanded further proof of his credentials.

He was eventually arrested after the so-called friend arrived and said the dog was her emotional support animal.

Tuckson was indicted this month for impersonating a member of the U.S. Marshals service.

He now faces a maximum of 13 years in prison, if convicted for both impersonation of a U.S. Marshall and firearm charges, according to a UNILAD report.
