A significant fire consumed a shopping complex in the Habak area of Srinagar District in Central Kashmir on Friday.
An official mentioned that the fire erupted in a commercial shopping complex close to Habak Crossing around 8:00 AM.
Emergency personnel from F&ES swiftly arrived at the scene and successfully extinguished the flames, earning appreciation from the locals.
Noor Alam, the Divisional Fire Officer (DFO) of Srinagar City, informed that a medical store named “Kashmir Medical Store” was damaged in the incident, but fortunately, there were no reported casualties.
Reportedly, an electrical short circuit is believed to be the cause of the fire.
