Malik still in police custody, remand extended till July 13

Srinagar, July 11: Police has extended the remand of JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik up to 13th July 2018. JKLF chairman was arrested by police on 6th July 2018 during a raid on his house and from then he is lodged at police station Kothibagh along with Umar Adil Dar of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat.

A JKLF spokesman while condemned the prolonging of Yasin sahibs incarceration has said that caging down political leaders and activists and barring them from performing their political activities is nothing but anti- democracy and worst oppression which is condemnable…

According to a statement, JKLF incarcerated chairman Yasin Malik while expressing his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the death of a child at Memander Shupion who became a victim of some mysterious blast and embraced martyrdom.

JKLF chairman said that on daily basis, Kashmiris are forced to shoulder the coffins of their dear ones as illegal occupation and military suppression continues to haunt them. He said that the pain of yesterday’s martyrs is still fresh when a new catastrophe has hit us snatching one more life and injuring half a dozen more among who many are critical.

While praying the heavenly abode of the martyred child, JKLF incarcerated Chairman prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the mysterious blast.

Meanwhile JKLF has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Gulam Ud Din Dar who was father of JKLF martyr Muhammad Sultan Dar of Sopore.

JKLF delegation comprising of Zahoor Ahmad Butt, Syed Nisar Jeelani, Muhammad Altaf Gojri and Khizar Muhammad visited the residence of the deceased and prayed for his heavenly abode.
