Kashmir is under the grip of cold weather as dense fog covers Srinagar, affecting visibility across several valley regions. The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar anticipates dry weather for Jammu and Kashmir, yet isolated morning fog might persist within the Kashmir division in the next 24 hours.

In Srinagar, the absence of precipitation and an overcast sky contribute to atmospheric haziness, leading to reduced visibility. The dense fog lingers in Srinagar, posing challenges for vehicles during the early morning and evening.

According to meteorological data, Srinagar experienced a low temperature of 0.8°C and a high of 12.5°C the previous Monday. Other recorded minimum temperatures include Kupwara at -0.8°C, Qazigund at -0.4°C, Kokarnaag at 1.2°C, and Pahalgam at -2.6°C.

Gulmarg recorded -1.2°C, Anantnag -0.3°C, Pulwama -2.1°C, Shopian -3.8°C, Kulgam 0.2°C, Budgam -2.3°C, Baramulla 0.1°C, Bandipora -2.5°C, Jammu 12.6°C, Banihal 2.2°C, Batote 6.1°C, Bhaderwah 3.8°C, Katra 10.5°C, Reasi 9.9°C, Samba 9.2°C, and Kathua 12.2°C.
