Principal Secretary, school education department, Asgar Hassan Samoon Friday announced reduction in the syllabus of class 10 and 12 in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Syllabus for 10+2 classes exams reduced to 70 % for JKUT,” Samoon tweeted while adding in comments: this also applies for 10th class syllabus for exams.
The reduction in syllabus happens when all educational institutions have been shut in J&K since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Schools and colleges are conducting online classes, which, however are not proving to be a long-term alternative for classroom learning.
