Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a short film, “The Journey of a Lifetime” to educate pilgrims about the rituals related to the pilgrimage.
The Ministry published the details of the awareness project, which presents the Hajj and Umrah journey in detail, documents the rituals of Hajj, and educates the pilgrims about the details of their journey of faith.
The project, under the auspices of Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, will be screened in nine languages — Arabic, English, Urdu, French, Bengali, Farsi, Hausa, Indonesian and Turkish.
It was filmed in more than 14 locations in seven weeks with the participation of more than 800 actors.It will also be shown on Saudi airline as part of its Inflight Entertainment System on the Hajj and Umrah channel, and is part of an agreement between the airline and the General Authority of Awqaf, said Saudi Hajj services deputy minister, Hisham Saeed.
It also provides a set of clarifications about a number of desirable behaviors during the presence of the guests of Rahman in a number of locations, such as airports, Al-Haramain Express train stations, holy sites, and inside the Two Holy Mosques and their yards.
