Srinagar: J&K Students Association thanked Ministry of external affairs and Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for facilitating return of mortal remains of Kashmiri medical Student Khushboo Manzoor from Bangladesh..
Khushboo, a resident of Anantnag, was pursuing MBBS at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College in Bangladesh.
In a statement, National Spokesperson of the Association Nasir Khuehami thanked External Affairs Ministry and Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor for their personal intervention in facilitating return of mortal remains of Kashmiri Student from Bangladesh.
“We at JKSA express deepest condolences to the family,” he said.
Joint Secretary of Association Faizaan Peer said the body was flown on Friday to New Delhi from Bangladesh.
“Fom Delhi there was another connecting flight to Srinagar. Jammu and Kashmir Administration also kept a dedicated ambulance and medical team at standby to receive it,” he added.
