Ministry of Indian Railways has invited applications for the post of Editor
To apply for this post a candidate should possess a Degree or diploma in Journalism from a recognized University or Institution.
Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent Cadre or Department, or Five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band-3, of Rs.15, 600-39,100 with grade pay of Rs.6600 (pre-revised}/ Level-11, or equivalent in the Parent Cadre or Department; and Possessing the educational and other qualifications as given
(i) Master’s Degree in English from a recognized University or equivalent. Ten years experience in Journalism or as Editor in English in any publication department of the Central Government or any Newspaper or news agency or publicity organization under the Central Government.
The candidate should have an upper age limit of 56 years and there is no lower age limit.
