Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has launched its entry-level SUV the Exter in India at Rs 5.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom) to Rs 9.32 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Exter is based on the Grand i10 NIOS’ platform and is available in eight primary variants. This new SUV will sit below the Venue in the brand’s SUV lineup. The Exter comes with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine and bi-fuel engine. The SUV sets a new precedent with incorporation of features such as Smartphone Wireless Charger (1st in segment), Type C USB Fast Charger (Best-in-Segment), Cruise Control, Footwell Lighting (1st in Segment), Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC) with Digital Display, Smart Key with Push Button Start etc, Said Irshad Ahmad Bhat, Manager Sales, HK Hyundai.
