Srinagar, Mar 28: In separate meetings Governor N.N. Vohra, who visited Srinagar on Wednesday, had extensive discussions with Dineshwar Sharma, Union Government’s Special Representative for Dialogue in J&K and other top officials of army, police and paramilitary CRPF.
With Sharma, Governor, as per the Raj Bhavan spokesperson, discussed the “security” situation since the beginning of this year and the steps required for maintaining “peace and normalcy”.
Vohra had a series of meetings with senior echelons in the security management apparatus. Among others he had discussions about the present and emerging security environment with Swayam Prakash Pani, IGP Kashmir, Zulfikar Hassan, IG CRPF Kashmir and Baseer Ahmed Khan, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir.
