Grenade attack in Srinagar; 3 security personnel, civilian injured

Srinagar: Suspected militants hurled a grenade on security forces in Nawa Bazaar area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district here on Friday.

Quoting a senior police officer, news agency GNS reported that two CRPF personnel, one cop and a civilian received splinter injuries after militants lobbed a grenade on the joint team of armed forces.

“All the injured were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment. Soon after the attack whole area has been cordoned off,” he said.
