Srinagar: To help people amid coronavirus pandemic, Golden Brands, a group of volunteers are arranging free food and medicine across the valley.
The team since the lockdown has been preparing food packets and then delivering it to various hospitals of Srinagar.
“We cook food by ourselves and then few of our volunteers visit various hospital where the food packets are distributed among patients and attendants, “said a member of the group.
They are also arranging medicines for the people belonging to the poor section of the society.
“The valley has witnessed lockdown for nearly a month now. Under current circumstances, there are also many people who can’t afford medicines. We have developed a network of youth who identify these people and then arrange medicines for them, “another member said.
