Srinagar, Sep 7: Hailing the reiteration of Pakistan’s unwavering official stand by President, Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan, Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani on Friday expressed hope that the newly elected government of Pakistan shall leave no stone unturned to use its good offices on all diplomatic and political levels for a peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute.
Terming the early resolution of this long pending issue as highly imperative for a lasting peace and progress in the South Asia, Geelani in a statement issued regretted “the stubbornness of India as a stumbling block in the way forward for the resolution of Kashmir issue.”
“The Indian stand is contrary to logical and historical facts as for as Kashmir issue is concerned,” said Geelani.
