Former AMU students’ union presidential candidate Mubashir Shah dies of cardiac arrest

A Kashmiri research scholar and former presidential candidate at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) passed away of cardiac arrest on Thursday evening, reports said.

Mubashir Hussain Shah, Ph.D. Scholar at department of political science AMU and presidential Candidate in 2018-2019 AMU students’ Union Election, passed away at his home in New Colony, Bijbehara, Anantnag.

Reports said Mubashir suffered a heart attack.

“Deeply saddened to hear about the news that our beloved and student leader Mubashir Hussain Shah Bhai is no more with us. He died due to heart attack at his home in Kashmir. May Allah grant im highest place in Jannat,” read a post from AMU Citizens group.
