FLO Amritsar meets Kyari head; discusses history of Kashmir, Article 370

Srinagar: FLO Amritsar today met Arhan Bagati, India’s first and world’s youngest Deputy Chef de Mission of the Indian Paralympics Contingent for Tokyo Paralympic Games 2020.

Arhan is a proud Kashmiri Pandit and the founder of Kashmir’s Yumberzal Applied Research Institute (KYARI). 

Chairperson Shikha Sareen and Past Chairperson Meeta Mehra held a threadbare discussion on the history of Kashmir and the historical context of Article 370. The visiting team also discussed the importance of religion in Kashmir & its history and the importance of Developmental Politics in Kashmir with Arhan. KYARI and the work that it’s doing also came under discussion.

FLO Amritsar has also been working tirelessly toward empowering society and uplifting women from all walks of life.

“It was an enlightening discussion which helped us to know more about the rich history and culture of Kashmir and the work done for its development. We got an insight into KYARI and the great work being done by the organization. FLO Amritsar is looking forward to collaborating with KYARI in the near future,” FLO said.
