Encouraging to see people acknowledging dev measures of Waqf: Darakhshan

SRINAGAR: Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, the Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board, paid obeisance at Ziyarat Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamadani (RA) at Khankah-e-Moula in Srinagar today. During her visit, she also reviewed the arrangements for the upcoming Urs at the shrine.

Dr. Andrabi expressed her gratitude to the people for recognizing the developmental and management improvements undertaken by the J&K Waqf Board at the shrine. “It is encouraging to see people acknowledging the developmental measures of the Waqf Board,” said Dr. Darakhshan.

She emphasized the importance of spreading the message of brotherhood and peace propagated by Hazrat Shah-e-Hamadan (RA) among the younger generations. “The message of brotherhood and peace of Hazrat Shah-e-Hamadan (RA) needs to be spread among the young generations for strengthening the Sufi tradition of co-existence and harmony in society,” she added.

Dr. Andrabi’s visit underscores the commitment of the J&K Waqf Board to preserving and enhancing the cultural and spiritual heritage of the region while ensuring the smooth conduct of religious events and activities.
