Srinagar Sep 26: Deputy Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kishtwar was suspended for dereliction of duties.
DEO Kishtwar in an order said, “Whereas, Mr/Sh. Masood Ahmed Qazi, Deputy Chief Education Officer Kishtwar has been found to have left the headquarters without prior permission. This has affected the Govt. functioning including Election work.”
“Pending, further inquiry for his dereliction of duties, the said officer is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect. During the suspension period, he shall remain attached in the office of Sub Divisional Magistrate Marwah,” reads the order.
ADDC Kishtwar shall hold an inquiry and submit a report within a week, it added.
