Srinagar, March 18: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast a dry weather spell across Jammu and Kashmir until March 26, with a possibility of light snowfall over isolated higher reaches in North Kashmir on the night of March 19.
A fresh spell of light rain and snow is expected at scattered places between March 27 and 28, followed by another dry period from March 29 to 31.
In response to the forecast, the Meteorological Centre has issued advisories for travelers, tourists, transporters, farmers, and the general public. Travelers and tourists have been urged to adhere to administrative and traffic guidelines, while farmers are advised to proceed with their agricultural activities.
Authorities have also cautioned the public to avoid venturing into sloppy or avalanche-prone areas to ensure safety.
