Director School Education releases Class 10 student’s debut novel

SRINAGAR: Director, School Education, Kashmir, Tassaduq Hussain released the book “The Cold Black Dawn” written by a young writer, Baazil Zubair.

Baazil Zubair is presently a student of Class 10th at Presentation Convent School, Srinagar. This is her debut novel. An avid reader,  she started writing at the age of 14.

Baazil aspires to be a fulltime writer. She loves fiction, mystery, tragedy, and romance.

In her book, she deftly sketches the struggles of a young woman’s life, who despite having a complicated personal life decides to earn and be independent, only to become a successful businesswoman. It is a story about grit, perseverance, determination, love, hatred, and difficult choices in life.

Appreciating the efforts of the young author, Tassaduq Hussain said it is commendable to have such an insight and understanding of the struggles of life at this age

He said Baazil’s work of creative expression at such young age can be an inspiration for many budding writers and these kinds of works will encourage and motivate many such students to explore their skill sets and bring them to the fore.
