Despite permission, SPCB disallowing Stone-Crusher owner to operate in State

Srinagar, Jan 4: Stone Crushers owners Thursday alleged that despite permission, State Pollution Control Board is not allowing them to operate in any part of Jammu and Kashmir.
They said that recently State Pollution Control Board had decided that Stone-Crusher owners will be allowed to operate for two to three months in a year but till date that decision has not been implemented.
They alleged that Chairman SPCB is using dilly dally tactics for unknown reasons.
The owners of the Stone-Crushers while seeking the intervention of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti appealed her to take the matter seriously.
They also alleged that SPCB is not giving permission within the stipulated time. “It needs two week for permission through online process that the Board takes months to forward permission to us,” they said.
