DC visits JLNM, Gousia Hospitals

SRINAGAR NOVEMBER 06:- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today visited the JLNM Hospital Rainawari and Gousia Hospital Khanyar to oversee the developmental works being executed for the upgradation of hospital infrastructure. 

Accompanied by Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tahir Sajad, and other officers the DC took stock of the works for the development of parking space and other construction works at JLNM Hospital. 

The DC directed the Officials on the spot to accelerate the pace of works on the development of additional parking space being executed at a cost of Rs 29.14 lakh. He also stressed on early completion of works on repairs and renovation of washrooms and allied works being executed at a cost of Rs 34.10 lakh.

The DC also visited Government Gousia Hospital Khanyar to inspect the works taken up for the construction of waste management measures at a cost of Rs 22.14 lakh.

At both the health facilities, the DC asked for expediting all works in a time-bound manner.

On the occasion, the Medical Superintendent of the Hospital highlighted the need for the Hostel for DNB students.

While interacting with the Staff of the Hospital, the DC emphasized ensuring better patient care facilities at the health facility so that patients do not suffer.
