COVID19: Five more test positive in Kashmir, toll reaches 38

Srinagar, Mar 29: Five more persons have been tested positive for coronavirus in Kashmir, taking total number of cases in J&K to 38.

“5 more positives cases confirmed in Kashmir -2 from Srinagar, 2 Budgam, 1 Baramulla ” tweeted Government spokesperson Rohit Kansal.

Two confirmed cases are from Srinagar, two from Budgam and one from Baramulla.

Earlier, a 55-year- old man  from Tangmarg, Baramulla, who was tested positive yesterday,  lost his battle and died in a Srinagar hospital. This was the second death due to novel Coronavirus so far in Kashmir.

On Thursday last, a 65-year-old from Hyderpora died of the disease, making it the first case of death due to Coronavirus.
