Chugh promises 5 new districts in UT

GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 23: Giving a new twist to the developmental plan of Jammu and Kashmir, the Bharatiya Janata Party has promised to form five new districts in the state. BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Center has made many important administrative reforms across the country, and in the same sequence, this important step is being taken for various areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

Chugh especially mentioned the hilly areas like Naushera and Kalakot-Sunderbani and said that giving district status to these areas will solve the administrative problems there and create new opportunities for development. He said that with these steps, along with strengthening the administrative structure in Jammu and Kashmir, every corner of the state, especially the hilly areas, will be taken on the path of development.

Tarun Chugh further said that this promise will be fulfilled after the formation of BJP’s “double engine government” in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that this government will usher in a new era of development of the region through a coordinated strategy at the central and state levels. Chugh appealed to the people to make the BJP victorious with a huge majority so that this new chapter of development can be started and Jammu and Kashmir can be taken on the path of prosperity.

This announcement is a clear message from the BJP to the people of Jammu and Kashmir that the party is not only serious about the development of the state, but is also committed to developing the region on modern lines through administrative and economic reforms.
