Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT has invited applications to fill up the posts of Assistant Director (Official Language) on a deputation basis.
A total of 20 vacancies will be filled with this recruitment drive. Candidates have to submit their offline applications to get registered for CBDT recruitment within 42 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.

Level 10 in pay matrix (Pre-revised Pay Band 3, Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100/- with grade pay of Rs.5400
Eligibility Criteria
The following officers under Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or recognized research institutions or public sector undertakings or semi Government or autonomous or statutory organizations are eligible to apply for the post:
(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
(ii) With two years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level 8 of pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or
(iii) With three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the level 7 of pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
Educational Qualification
Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
Age limit
The Age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
