Bear who injured 3 in Tral captured

Srinagar: After creating chaos and inflicting injuries on at least three persons, including a girl in Tral’s Dadasara area last month, the bear was captured by the Wildlife Department in the Lalgam area of Tral on Monday.

An official from the Wildlife Department said the bear, caught after laying a trap, was purportedly the one involved in the Tral’s incident on April 25.

In the incident, two men and one girl were left injured by the bear in Dadasara Tral, plunging the whole area into fear.
 
Following the unfortunate incident, the Wildlife Department mobilized its men into the suspected areas, resulting in the beast’s capture after a relentless pursuit by the deployed personnel, the official said
