Battling financial crisis, Pak government decides to revive trade with India

Battling economic crisis, Shehbaz Sharif’s government in Pakistan has decided to revive trade with India.

In a cabinet meeting,  it was decided that the position of Trade Minister in India would be reinstated.

The appointment of Trade Ministers was approved for 15 countries including the neighbor with which Pakistan shares deep history.

The reports come at a time when a “big decision” is expected with PM Shehbaz Sharif set to leave for London to meet his elder brother, PML-N supremo, and former PM Nawaz Sharif.

India and Pakistan relations had taken a hit during the previous Imran Khan government. However, Shehbaz Sharif government is keen to leave the past behind and move ahead with new vigor with India.
