GANDERBAL, AUGUST 01: A grand literary event was organized by the Anjuman-e-Adab Ganderbal at the Government Degree College Ganderbal. The event featured the unveiling of Sufi poet Bashir Chandpuri’s book titled *Hubab-e-Ishq* and a splendid mushaira (poetry symposium). Shehzad Manzoor presented a beautiful paper on the book.
The event was presided over by Akhtar Hussain Mansoor, with Ghulam Hassan (S.P. Ganderbal) serving as the chief guest. The Principal of Degree College Ganderbal, Prof. Fauzia Fatima, and Deputy Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, Rumaisa Sangeen, were present as distinguished guests. Nazim Nazir, Prof. Nasrat Iqbal, and Prof. Marifat were also present on the presidium.
The President of Anjuman-e-Adab Ganderbal, Azhar Nazir, formally welcomed the guests and participants in his unique style. The gratitude movement was acknowledged by Prof. Marifat. The event was managed by Chief Coordinator Sheikh Bashir and General Secretary Wajid Hassan Chhatargali. The Chief Reporter of Gulistan News Channel, Saleem Wani, and Abdul Majid were awarded certificates of appreciation. The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Kamran Hassan, followed by a naat (poetry in praise of Prophet Muhammad) by renowned poetess Mah Jabeen Gousia.
Distinguished and experienced poets and poetesses who graced the event with their impactful poetry included Akhtar Hussain Mansoor, Hassan Kashmiri, Prof. Dr. Nasrat Iqbal Sahiba, Farooq Simbli, Azhar Nazir, Joher Ramadan, Ghulam Rasool Karahami, Bashir Chandpuri, Yaseen Qadri, Irshada Bano, Ishrat Gul Sahiba, Mah Jabeen Gousia Sahiba, Raheem Rizwan, Molvi Riaz Hakbari, Ghulam Bani Dilnawaz, Rahat Rafiq, Shehzad Manzoor, Wajid Hassan Chhatargali, and Aabid Hussain Rabtari.
