SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 14: J&K Waqf Board Chairperson, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, today paid obeisance at the Ziyarat Dastgeer Sahib in Khanyar, Srinagar, and reviewed the arrangements made by the Waqf Board in coordination with various departments for the Annual Urs celebrations.
After interacting with pilgrims and those managing the facilities, Dr Andrabi issued instructions for upgrading the amenities at the shrine. She expressed her gratitude to the district administration and other government departments for their cooperation in providing the necessary services.
Speaking to the media, Dr Andrabi emphasized the universal reverence for Dastgeer Sahib across all communities in Kashmir. “The teachings of Dastgeer Sahib are universally relevant. He is the epitome of spiritual excellence. By celebrating him, we are celebrating the ethos of human excellence,” said Dr Andrabi. She also prayed for peace and prosperity for all of humanity.
