890 central laws implemented in J&K: BJP

Srinagar, Sep 13: BJP on Friday said eight hundred and ninety central laws have been implemented in J&K after the abrogation of Article 370.

BJP spokesman YV Sharma said that two hundred and nine laws of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir have also been repealed after the abrogation of Article 370.

He said the BJP is committed to the welfare of the people, especially the poor, marginalized, and deprived.

 “After BJP forms government in J&K, 5 marlas of land will be given to the landless and separate colonies will also be set up for the poor,” Sharma said, adding, “We will also ensure affordable healthcare for the poor”.

He said that 10kg of rice and 1kg of sugar will also be provided to the poor after the formation of the BJP Government here in J&K.

“A monetary help (pension) of Rs 18000 per year will be given to a senior most woman of every family, he said and added, “After the formation of BJP Government in J&K, the monthly pension of the widows, physically challenged and the old age people will also be enhanced to Rs 3000 instead of the existing Rs 1000”.

He said that the BJP is committed to the welfare of the last man standing in a row.
