Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday reported 701 Covid-19 cases including 139 from Jammu and 562 from Kashmir.
The total tally has risen to 33,776 in J&K.
As per official figures, Srinagar reported 208 cases, Baramulla 29, Pulwama 56, Budgam 49, Anantnag 44, Kulgam 18, Shopian 6, Kupwara 55, Bandipora 66, Ganderbal 31, Jammu 76, Rajouri 9, Kathua 11, Udhampur 6, Ramban 6, Samba 13, Doda 3, Poonch 12, Reasi 2 and Kishtwar 1.
They said 389 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals, 79 from Jammu Division and 310 from Kashmir.
The government reiterated appeal to people the best way to protect themselves from COVID-19 is by maintaining physical distance of at least 2 metre from others, frequently cleaning hands with an alcohol based hand sanitizer or washing them with soap and water and following good respiratory etiquettes and hygiene.
