Srinagar: 376 students from Kashmir and Ladakh who were stranded in Kota Rajasthan will reach their destinations on Monday.
The students left the Kota on Sunday in a state-run Jammu and Kashmir State Road Corporation buses and are expected to reach home on Monday.
“376 J&K students in Kota set to return tomorrow. All arrangements finalised. This follows recent return of students and others who were in Jaisalmer and other places. Appeal : Please be patient. Govt is working hard to facilitate all,” Government Spokesperson, Rohit Kansal said in a tweet.
JK Students Association Spokesperson Nasir Khuehami in a tweet said that, “Hundreds of Stranded Kashmiri Students Leave Kota Rajasthan forJ&K in JKSRTC Buses. They have started journey to home & r expected to reach tommrrow.Thanks CM @ashokgehlot51@listenshahid & other officials for their intervention, & making arrangement of transport for their safe return,” he said.
Earlier, hundreds of Iran returned Kashmir students, who were kept in quarantine facility at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan were brought back by the administration after they completed their quarantine period.
