Srinagar, Apr 4: Three more persons tested positive for coronavirus in J&K taking the total number of positive cases to 78.
The three residents of Narsoo in Udhampur district of Jammu are contacts of a positive patient who had travelled abroad.
“Three more positive cases reported today from Narsoo, Udhampur. All contacts of a positive patient from Udhampur with travel history abroad,” tweeted Government spokesperson Rohit Kansal.
On Friday he had informed that the number of positive COVID 19 cases had risen to 75 in J&K as five fresh cases were detected during the day.
Giving breakup of the figures at a press briefing, Kansal had said that out of 75 cases 70 are active cases (54 in Kashmir Division and 16 in Jammu division.) and a total of 22,993 cases are under surveillance so far.
He revealed that Jammu and Kashmir has also been testing cases aggressively and so far 1218 tests have been conducted which is 6.5% of total under surveillance.
